Finally: Reflect. This experience requires you to do a little 'targeted networking.' How will this experience shape how you participate in any future networking events? Did this experience differ from your networking experiences in the past? How?

  • Targeted marketing is not easy. I thought that getting into contact with people would be relatively simple, but as work and daily life consume most of peoples time it is hard to get in contact and have the necessary time needed to discuss all of the topics. I am glad that I started this assignment early because I was able to get all the information I needed. This has also allowed for me to see the benefit of networking and knowing the right people. This is something that I will no doubt have to get better at in the future too because a lot of the times it is not about what you know but rather who you know.

  1. Kyle,
I think these are some really valuable people to have in your network in case you ever go through with this business idea in the future. If you don't know anything about app development, you would definitely need contacts in that field to help you. An expert in the social media marketing field would also be invaluable to you if you wanted to reach influencers.

  2. Hey Kyle, I am very impressed with your work on this assignment. You did a great job of finding three people who are going to be able to really help you with your process. These are three people that I know you will be able to rely on to help you fix your problem. With these connections, you are going to go far with this. Great work.

  3. Hi Kyle,
These business contacts seem to be very useful. It's great that your new mentors were willing to give you advice and help without expecting anything in return. I feel like these kinds of people are hard to come by in today's world, with everyone looking out for what might be in it for them. However, if you are able to find generous people like you did, their value is priceless.
