8A - Solving the Problem
- My product/service has to do with the prevention of distracted driving.
- Some people are aware that Apple has invented a technology that can disable your phone while driving. This technology is good but a drawback is that the phones operator must consciously turn on this feature, which is often times the hardest part.
- So my solution to the problem would be to take this technology that has already been created and enable it as a feature that is on as soon as you begin the process of setting up your phone and is unable to be turned off.
- I want this feature to be in all cell phones not just Apple products. This should not be an issue and there are many brilliant software developers out there that could undoubtably make it compatible across all platforms.
- I think most insurance companies would be in favor of such a feature because it would most likely reduce the number of accidents each year in America significantly.
